Hello. My name is Kris. I’m so glad you are here.

I’ve been telling stories inside my head for as long as I can remember. Eventually, I started writing them down. I have a passion for the craft of writing and the adventure that story brings to life. I love sharing that passion with other writers. I work in the library at my local community college. I am blessed to be an advisor to the Poetry Club that I and a few students started last year (September 2022). We were recently awarded “Club of the Year,” and I couldn’t be more proud of the young people who put their hearts and souls into expanding their skills and sharing that passion with the rest of the community college community.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English at Roanoke College and my Master of Fine Arts in Children’s Literature, Creative Writing from Hollins University.
